An event dedicated to discovering the excellence of Made in Italy craftsmanship, offering a unique experience that goes beyond observation and provides the opportunity to “Create Beauty”. Schools, families, and visitors will have the chance to explore and actively participate in the artistic workshops set up for the occasion, where master craftsmen in luthiery, goldsmithing, weaving, and leatherwork will demonstrate — and allow participants to experience firsthand — how the artistic creations admired throughout the world are made.

Bravo! di Maestri d’Arte reaffirms the artistic identity of craftsmanship within a coherent and highly visible context, offering a cultural and hands-on experience of the heritage of Artisan Beauty that has characterised Italian excellence worldwide since the Renaissance.
The initiative is completely free of charge, subject to online registration, with the possibility to choose between a guided tour of the 500 m² exhibition space or the opportunity to take part in the “art workshops” experience.
Days and times for the tours and the “Botteghe d’Arte” workshops, available by free registration until places are filled, can be found online at:
www.bravodimaestridarte.it.
“Doing Good to Create Beauty is the guiding principle of the event,” declares president Elisabetta Armiato, former étoile of Teatro alla Scala and Knight of Merit of the Italian Republic for her humanitarian commitment.“After 20 years of study and hands-on experience, we have created a new educational model for children and adolescents, focused on active learning that enhances each person’s talent, just as it happened in the Renaissance workshops.”

The Fondazione Arte della Seta Lisio, at the request of Fondazione Culturale PENSARE oltre, brings to the project its mission focused on building networks of excellence in support of artistic craftsmanship, its preservation, and its promotion. The Foundation contributes its know-how and its extensive, century-old expertise in the craft sector, with particular attention to the training of young artisans and the continuous professional development of those working in the field of high-level craftsmanship.
For this initiative, the Fondazione Arte della Seta Lisio has coordinated other centres of excellence, Scuola Ricchino, Fondazione Palio di Legnano, and C.I.T.A. Consociazione Italiana Tappezzieri Arredatori, active throughout the textile supply chain, from yarn analysis and textile design to the final use of fabrics, both in fashion and interior design.
Within the dedicated exhibition area, coordinated by the Fondazione Lisio and with the design support of Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d'Arte, the various organisations will alternate workshops and demonstrations, highlighting the importance, completeness, and historical, artistic, and productive value of the textile chain as a heritage of Italian craftsmanship.
