Duties of the Editor and Editorial Team
Publication Decisions
The editors of Jacquard. Pagine di cultura tessile are responsible for approving each submitted article considered suitable for publication.
The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the final publication decision regarding articles approved by the editorial team.
Fairness
The Editor-in-Chief and the Editors evaluate submitted articles based on their content, without discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnic origin, nationality, or the authors’ political views.
Confidentiality
The Editor-in-Chief, the Editors, and other members of the editorial staff undertake not to disclose information about submitted articles to anyone other than the author and the publisher.
Conflicts of Interest and Disclosure
The Editor-in-Chief, the Editors, and all individuals who, in any capacity, have access to the content of submitted articles undertake not to use such content in their own research without the written consent of the author.
Duties of Authors
Access to and Retention of Data
If deemed appropriate by the editors, authors of articles should make available the sources or data on which the research is based, so that they can be preserved for a reasonable period after publication and potentially made accessible.
Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must declare that they have produced an original work in all its parts and that they have properly cited all sources and texts used.
Multiple, Redundant, and/or Concurrent Publications
Authors should not publish articles describing the same research in more than one journal. Submitting the same manuscript simultaneously to more than one journal constitutes improper and unacceptable conduct.
Acknowledgement of Sources
Authors must always provide accurate references to the sources and contributions mentioned in the article.
Authorship of the Work
Authorship must be correctly attributed, and all those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, organization, execution, and reworking of the research underlying the article must be listed as co-authors. If other individuals have contributed significantly to specific stages of the research, their contribution must be explicitly acknowledged.
In the case of multi-authored contributions, the author submitting the manuscript to the journal must declare that the names of all other co-authors have been correctly indicated, that their approval of the final version of the article has been obtained, and that they have consented to its publication.
Conflicts of Interest and Disclosure
All authors must explicitly declare that there are no conflicts of interest that could have influenced the results obtained or the interpretations presented. Authors must also indicate any funding bodies supporting the research and/or project from which the article derives.
Errors in Published Articles
When an author identifies a significant error or inaccuracy in their published article, they must promptly inform the journal’s editors and provide all the information necessary to publish the appropriate corrections at the end of the article.
